Emma Frost is a leading character in the 1996 unsold Fox TV pilot-turned-movie Generation X. She is a powerful telepathic mutant and the co-headmaster of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, alongside Sean Cassidy.
Another iteration of the character appeared in the Fox X-Men film series.
History[]
Emma is the headmaster of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters alongside Sean Cassida (Banshee) and together they teach the next generation of mutants how to control their abilities and learn to accept themselves. Together, they take in Jubilee, who has gotten herself into trouble with the law after using her abilities in public. She is taken to sanctuary by Emma and Sean, who have also recruited Angelo aka Skin, who has stretching abilities. They are integrated into the school alongside other misfit mutants.
An old work colleague of Emma's, Russel Tresh has been using a dream machine to terrorise Jubilee and Angelo, Jubilee is able to resist but Angelo succumbs to Tresh's powers and Emma Frost uses her psychic abilities to transport Sean and the rest of the students into his dreams to rescue him. The team utilise their powers to save Angelo and Emma traps him in the dream dimension and in a catatonic state.

Telepathy: Emma showed proficient skill and ability in reading and manipulating minds, both in dreams and the waking world. She could cause people to see whatever she desires and trap them in her illusions. She could also plant mental suggests in others' minds to influence their behavior.
