Ewan Gordon McGregor, OBE, is a Scottish actor, singer, and director. He has had success in mainstream, indie, and art house films and is best known for his roles as Mark Renton in Trainspotting and its sequel, T2 Trainspotting, Christian in Moulin Rouge!, young Edward Bloom in Tim Burton's Big Fish, Dr. Alfred Jones in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, and Emmit and Ray Stussy in the third season of FX's Fargo. He also voiced Rodney Copperbottom in the 2005 Blue Sky animated film, Robots.
For Disney, he voiced Valiant in the 2005 film of the same name and portrayed a younger Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels, a role he later briefly reprised for a voiceover alongside his predecessor, Sir Alec Guinness, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, as well as the Star Wars series of the same name on Disney+. He also portrayed Lumière in Bill Condon's 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and an adult Christopher Robin in the 2018 film of the same name.
