- “No...NO! I am going TO KILL YOU!!!”
- ―Heather Hills' villainous breakdown once Rodrick accidentally knocks over an ice sculpture.
Heather Hills is the main antagonist of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, an adaption of the 2009 novel of the same name, and a supporting character in the book also Holly's older sister.
While not a villain in the book series, she is given an antagonistic role in the Dog Days film, where she tries to attack Rodrick with a microphone stand when he accidentally knocked over an ice sculpture. She was described to be a female version of Rodrick, but unlike him, Heather does not have any redeeming qualities. She is the older sister of Holly Hills, who she sometimes harasses as claimed by her in Rodrick Rules.
Biography[]
In Rodrick Rules, she is described by Holly Hills as a female version of Rodrick due to them both harassing their younger siblings yet rarely getting in trouble for it.
In Dog Days, when Holly is singing Greg's yearbook, Heather interrupts her and tells her to get in the car as she doesn't care what she is doing. Rodrick tries flirting with her, but she drives away and runs over his foot in the process. She is shown at the country club as a lifeguard, but was not doing her job as she was instead using her phone and ignoring Rodrick while he was in the pool.
This causes a man to jump into the pool and give Rodrick mouth-to-mouth much to his disgust. Heather threatened to leave Holly behind at the country club if she does not listen to what she says.
She is last seen at her sweet 16 party, where Rodrick goes to front and sings a cover of "Baby" by Justin Bieber to impress her again, but he accidentally knocks down a nearby ice sculpture, angering Heather as she furiously tries to attack Rodrick with a microphone stand and threatened to kill him, but he ducks and she instead hits a chocolate fountain, causing it to spray all over her and Madison. All the guests leave the party after seeing Heather's outburst. Greg apologized to Holly, but she said she was happy and that she thought that Heather fairly deserved it.
Personality[]
Heather is shown to be extremely ignorant, rude, spoiled, narcissistic, selfish, ill-mannered, self-absorbed, lazy, entitled, mean-spirited, cold-hearted, dense, obnoxious and brash, unlike in the books. Unlike Rodrick, she has little to no redeeming qualities whatsoever, caring about absolutely no one or nothing but herself, not even her own family members, and shows no remorse or regret for her actions and sees herself above all others, and is overall a huge Karma Houdini, as she never got into trouble for anything she did throughout the film, even when she tried attacking Rodrick using a microphone stand.

Trivia[]
- Heather's appearance in the books came from Susan Horn, one of Rodrick's classmates in the online book.Template:R
- Heather has a close resemblance to her sister Holly. Heather has long hair and wears pitch-black earrings in both of her ears. In the film, she is also blonde like Holly.
- She does not have a single line of dialogue in the book.
- Heather is shown to be extremely ill-mannered in the film series, but in the books, she makes too little appearances to know what her personality is like in them. One small hint of her personality in the books, though, could be from being Rowley's previous babysitter.
- Why Heather was replaced by Leland is unknown in Rodrick Rules, but in Online Version, it states that she was fired for smoking outside Rowley's house after she had put him to bed.
- There are two differences in Heather's love life in the book version and movie version.
- In the end of the Dog Days film, it is revealed that Heather's age is 16.
- Despite the country club requiring employees to be 18 and up, she somehow has a job there. It is likely she lied about her age or circumvented the rules. Though given that Heather is not really that smart, it's more likely the former (that she lied about her age).
- Another possibility could be she was in a volunteer position, as she mentioned that the only reason she was working there was to get credit for her college application.
- Heather is often confused with a character in Rodrick Rules film called Rachel Lewis who was played by Melissa Roxburgh, so this led people to thinking that Heather was once Rodrick's girlfriend, but it was Rachel.
- She might be retired since she hasn't appeared since Dog Days, since Greg stated that she was going to college in the fall.
- She is also a fan of Justin Bieber, according to Rodrick.
- In the movie, Heather drives a convertible and has her own cell phone.
- In the books, not much is known about Heather's personality, since she makes too little appearances. Given that she was Rowley's babysitter, it may possibly serve as a hint that she could actually be nicer than her film counterpart.
- In the film, as the main antagonist, her personality is shown to be that of the ultimate stereotypical valley girl. She is extremely ignorant, rude, spoiled, narcissistic, selfish, ill-mannered, self-absorbed, lazy, entitled, mean-spirited, cold-hearted, dense, obnoxious, bossy, cranky, grumpy, scary, loud, brash, as well as plain oblivious. Although Holly and Greg both describe her as the female-equivalent of Rodrick, she is shown to be far more ill-mannered, obnoxious, and mean-spirited than him, seeing everyone else as beneath her and caring about absolutely nobody but herself, not even her own family, and shows no remorse or regret for her actions. While Rodrick has a few redeeming qualities, Heather has none. In addition, her actions tend to be extremely reckless, as she once threatened to leave Holly behind at the club, acted rude to a girl when she asked for directions to the snack bar (even the girl called her out for her behavior by stating there's no need to be rude), refused to help Rodrick when he was “drowning”, and tried assaulting Rodrick when he accidentally knocked over her sculpture of her, destroying her cake in the process. and splattering it all over and Madison. Not helping is that Heather is a keep Houdini who doesn't get in trouble for her actions.
- She is seen smoking a cigarette outside of Rowley Jefferson’s house in the online version.
- She is completely different from her book counterpart, as her book version is a neutral character who was hired as Rowley's babysitter unlike in the film.
- She serves as a dark reflection and foil to Rodrick as both are older siblings who harass their younger siblings. While Rodrick is nicer than his book counterpart and learned how to bond with brothers kindly and became appreciative and touched by Greg's acts of forgiveness and kindness, Heather is meaner than her book counterpart, doesn't change her attitude, and has little to no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
- She is not evil whatsoever in the books (as she is just a neutral character with no antagonistic roles), but is an antagonist in the films, with a completely different personality. Given that she is Rowley's babysitter in the books, she is most likely nicer there, but in the film, she is a full on villain as stated above.
- Although Heather was not to be featured in the former film Rodrick Rules, her actress, Melissa Roxburgh, plays another character, Rachel Lewis, at a party at Rodrick's house. Because of this, fans mistakenly believe that Heather used to be Rodrick's girlfriend.
- Only the film version of Heather is a Hate Sink, since her character in the books is not described enough and is not portrayed negatively. She is also shown to be a babysitter to Rowley, which may show a desire to help.
