Henry the Octopus is a Wiggly Friend who debuted in 1992. He also likes to dance and spin around. Henry likes to sing and to dance with his eight legs. He is said to have a bubbly personality and loves a good joke.
He was introduced in 1992, debuting in his eponymous song from the Here Comes a Song album. According to Anthony in the Everybody Clap! Everybody Sing! documentary, Henry was named after The Cockroaches drummer Tony Henry.
The way Henry works is that the performer inside can see through the mouth and his eyes. Plus, on top of his hat, there's a vent so the performer has some breathing space.

Henry the Octopus is a fun-loving octopus with purple skin. Henry is a smart dresser and loves his tartan outfit, shiny black shoes, bow tie and boater hat. He is the leader of the underwater Big Band and loves to sing and dance with The Wiggles. When he dances, he twirls around and around.
