On October 25, 2019, after the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, the project was confirmed to be still in development for Disney+. In December 2020, the project was confirmed to have been redeveloped as a film and to be titled ''Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild'', centring around Buck going on an adventure in the Dinosaur World with Crash and Eddie. Ice Age: Adventuris of Buck Wild is an upcoming 2022 American computer animated comedy adventure film. It's a spin-off to the Ice Age franchise and focuses on Buck.
It shows Buck, Crash and Eddie going in an adventure in the Dinosaur World. It will feature Simon Pegg, Seann William Scott and Josh Peck reprising their roles with new actors presumably joining them voicing new characters.
Synopsis
After the events of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Crash and Eddie comes back to the Dinosaur World and they're recruited by Buck in a new adventure.
