Lachelle "Leslie" McCallister is a minor character of Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Leslie is portrayed by Terrie Snell. Leslie is the paternal aunt-in-law of Kevin, Buzz, Jeff, Linnie, Megan, and Heather and the mother of Tracy, Sondra, Brooke, Rod, and Fuller McCallister and the wife of Frank McCallister.
Biography[]
Before Home Alone[]
When brother-in-law of Leslie, Rob is transferred to Paris, France for work, his second child and older son Rod is sent to live with Leslie and Frank so he can finish high school.
Trip to Paris[]
While preparing for the trip, Leslie asks Kate and Peter if they have a voltage adapter. Peter hands her Kevin, saying, "Here, here is a voltage adapter." Leslie then puts Kevin down, saying he is getting heavy and then tells him to pack his suitcase, although earlier in the day, she trips on one of micro machines of Kevin and almost breaks her neck.
Later, after finding out that the pizza boy needs $122.50 plus tip, she asks Frank if he has any money. Frank replies that he only has checks of traveler. She then tells her youngest child and only son Fuller to "go easy on the Pepsi" while he drinks a can of the beverage. After a fight broke out between Kevin and Buzz, Leslie saves her youngest child and only son, Fuller after her husband, Frank traps him between his chair and the wall.
The next day, during the flight from Chicago to Paris, she refuses demands of Frank to put the drinking glasses of the plane in her purse and then gave the stewardess a sheepish smile when the stewardess asks Frank if he wants some champagne. When Kate discovers that Kevin is missing, Leslie holds onto her hand and reassures her that he is fine. She looks at Frank sternly after he tells the family that he forgot his reading glasses.
Trip to Miami, Florida[]
At a Christmas pageant the night before their trip, Peter turns to Leslie and tells her that solo of Kevin is coming up and to pass it on to Frank. She then turns to her husband to tell him what Peter said, but has to wake him up first. Then, when Buzz plays a trick on Kevin using two candles, Leslie, Kate and Peter do not laugh and she also tries to get Frank to stop laughing. After they get home and Buzz apologizes, Leslie, along with the others, glares at Kevin.
The next day, upon arrival at the airport in Miami, Florida, Kate and Peter each hands Kevin's bag to her and then passes it all the way down to Fuller, but it is quickly discovered that Kevin is missing for the second year in a row.
Once Kevin is discovered to be in New York City, New York, Leslie goes there with the rest of the family to reunite with him. The next morning, when Buzz tells the family that they won't have Christmas if it isn't for Kevin, Leslie smiles, claps and even briefly puts an arm around Kevin when he is shocked about what Buzz has said.
