Rupert Murdoch, the owner of Huzur Radio TV, which covers FOX and FOX Türk, could not achieve the success he wanted at that time, so he gave FOX Türk back to İhlas Holding. It was closed on 1 July 2009 and FOX Türk transferred the same frequency to TGRT EU.
