Luke Skywalker is one of the main protagonists of the Star Wars franchise. He is an incredible Jedi Knight who would grow up to be trained in the ways of the Force and defeat the Galactic Empire. He is the son of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, the twin brother of Leia Organa, the maternal uncle of Ben Solo, and the second Jedi Padawan and old friend of Obi-Wan Kenobi (after his father) and Yoda (after Dooku).
