Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a 1995 American superhero film based on the popular children’s TV series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993–1996). It serves as a standalone theatrical adventure that loosely fits into the show’s timeline (between Seasons 2 and 3), featuring the same core cast and concept but with a bigger budget, new villains, and upgraded suits and Zords.
Plot[]
Six teenagers—Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, Tommy, and Rocky—are the Power Rangers, chosen by the ancient sage Zordon to protect Earth from evil using martial arts, giant robots (Zords), and the power of the Morphing Grid.
When an ancient evil named Ivan Ooze is accidentally unleashed after 6,000 years of imprisonment, he quickly overpowers Zordon and destroys the Rangers’ Command Center. Now powerless and on the run, the team must travel to a distant planet, gain new Ninjetti powers, and return to save Angel Grove—and the world—from Ivan’s army of ooze-controlled parents and monstrous minions.
