Raz (real name Rasmussen) is one of the secondary antagonists in Ice Age: Continental Drift. She is a Procoptodon (a prehistoric kangaroo) and a member of Captain Gutt's crew.
She is voiced by Rebel Wilson.
History[]
She was found in Australia by Captain Gutt and his crew, he recruited her for her weapons skills and extremely aggressive for a fight. She and the crew enjoys serving under Captain Gutt's command.
She and her crew finds a squirrel named Scrat and take him as prisoner on their ship. Then they helps Gutt to capture Manny (a Mammoth), Sid (a ground sloth), Diego (a sabertooth tiger) and Granny (an old female ground sloth and Sid's grandmother) and they take them as prisoners too. However they escape and destroy the ship leaving them to save themselves, except Shira, on an iceberg and they arrive on an island where Gutt enslaves Hyrax to rebuild their ship.
Unluckily for them their new ship is stealen by Manny, Sid, Diego and Granny, who were arrived in the island too, as they use it to come back to home, Gutt tries to catch them but he's betrayed by Shira who stops him. Then Raz and the others observe Gutt breaking an Ice wall with bare hands creating a new ship asking them to come on board which they timidely agrees. Then Raz is happy to see Gutt threatening Shira and they go to the group's home where they kidnap Manny's family.
Manny, Sid, Diego and Granny arrives and there's a battle between the herd and the pirates. Sid and Granny then use a whale names Precious to defeat the pirates washing away Raz, Gupta, Silas, Flyinn and Dobson.
It's currently unknown what happened to her and the rest of the crew but they could have survived as Flyinn is a sea creature.
Personality and Abilities[]
She is tough, fearless, cruel and dangerous as Captain Guttis. A true Aussie Shelia Kangaroo, serving as the crew weapons expert and don't mess with her..... She loves to party, and by party she means fight till you drop. Always keeping weapons in her pouch and many of weapons she holds for the crew.
She is the smart one of the crew, a special dislike for Sid and angry at Shira for being a traitor. She can use her pouch to store weapons and very talented of using them in battle, her legs are strong enough to kick the Snowball Cannon at oncoming ships and jump really high.

- Raz was originally going to serve as Sid's love interest of the movie.
- It's implied in the videogame version that she's Gutt's girlfriend. It's currently unknown if this is canon for the movie too as they don't interact except when he orders her to fire the cannons.
