Ricky Dillman (Robert Hoffman) is a minor (and the only human) antagonist and ex-boyfriend of Bethany Pearson in the movie. He is taken under alien control and breaks up with Bethany in the end. He tries to make Annie his girlfriend but she rejects him when he does weird things.
Personality[]
Ricky is selfish, vain, and incredibly arrogant. He doesn't care about Bethany and is only dating her because he thinks she's hot. He chose to date someone still in high school instead of someone his age because being young, she is easy to manipulate. After breaking up Ricky quickly moves on to someone else because he's a POS.
He pretends his car is broken down and pretends to be a wholesome good guy in front of Stuart Pearson and Nina Pearson, unbeknownst to them that he’s playing them as fools, since he’s a senior in college and not high school like they think.
When Ricky picks Bethany up in his arms at the lake, Tom and Art hide behind the bushes at the lake, but Art pushes the wrong button to control Ricky forcing him to throw Bethany in the lake.
During a barbeque, Skip breaks out from the box and controls Ricky to retrieve Sparks in Hannah's backpack. The kids try to follow him, but Nate stops them until the twins control Nana to convince him to let them go.
They follow Ricky inside the house, where they spot him throwing the backpack into the basement and hides the key by swallowing it. Skip explains through Ricky that there will be many alien reinforcements and that Jake will be eliminated if they continue to resist.
In the mid-credits scene, Bethany and Tom use the mind-control remote and take revenge on Ricky to make him act weirdly in front of his new (ex) girlfriend Annie Filkins, and Bethany gleefully comments that "she is so keeping this" after Ricky lands in his testicles on a stair rail.
Appearance[]
Ricky has blond hair and blue eyes. He has a slightly muscular build and wears mostly short-sleeve button-up tops and polos.
