Ruby Daly is the main character of the 2018 dystopian sci-fi film The Darkest Minds. She is a survivor of the children/teenage eradicating outbreak, becoming a 'Psi' with the psychic ability to mentally control the minds of others.

- Telepathy: as a classified orange 'Psi', Ruby has the ability to enter and manipulate a persons mind, giving her an array of mental abilities as well as the potential for others.
- Mind control: her main power is controlling the thoughts and actions of others. By setting her sights on someone, she can control them and force them to do whatever action she desires. She does not need verbal commands to active this ability and the subject is put in a suggestive trance almost instantly.
- Memory erasing: Ruby can directly enter a persons thoughts and erase their memories. She can navigate and select only certain memories (for example, those containing a certain person) and wipe them.
